I don't think that's even been on TV here.
When you first mentioned a British restaurant/detective show I initially thought of Pie In The Sky but that's an oooooold show and I knew it wouldn't be that. A bit of googling did bring up that Whitstable show and it's apparently on some odd streaming service that I've never heard of.
