White noise will always be granular at the pixel level so scale is irrelevant.

When I'm fiddling with texture scale I sometimes find it easier to use the value node plugged into the mapping scale and this works in addition to the scale value you set within the noise texture node.

I decided to practice sculpting in Blender. But of course I end up using the editing mode and moving one or a few vertices at a time. I am using the mirroring thingy though. 

Which didn't prevent some vertices from not being mirrored anyway :dunno: 

 

Who can tell what this is? :woohoo:

Mirror modifiers are "things" too. :pout:

But when you're using the one in edit mode some vertices can get left behind if the topology isn't perfectly symmetrical to start with.
If this is the case you can make the mesh symmetrical again in Sculpt mode.

Thanks for the tip. I think it was only one vertex though and I just moved it myself... :shrug: It's not like I'm working on a michelangelo sculpture :P

Tried again. Sort of followed a video (though I only watched maybe half or so). At least I learned some short cut keys. And this thing has legs, but no ears. It also looks nothing like I intended, so far... :dunno: 

 

Amazing how ones' arms can hurt and fingers fall asleep just from moving vertices around (yes, it's "sculpted" in Edit mode)
