I usually do these kind of things on a Saturday but here's a midweek sketchy sketch for a change...

Nice :) Especially her eyes and those two little gleaming metal rings on her shoulder straps. They look properly metallic they do :)

This was too slow and too hard...

looks good though - although her arm gets a bit lost in the shape of the sleeve...

Thankfully her hand gets lost too! :P

But it was a really tough angle for the woman's head. I was hoping it'd be a quick greyscale scribble followed by a bit of work on my challenge pic then a bit of Skyrim, but I ended up struggling with this one all evening. :pout:

well I think you did her face hidden in shadows really well. Enough detail to see that she has a face and probably a beautiful one, while still being properly dark and shadowy. :)

Good stuff Val! Her gaze is really convincing as is his disregard of it. I always struggle to get that convincing connection between two characters on the rare occasions I paint more than one.

I've not finished anything I've been happy with for some time but it seemed to flow at lot easier today so here's Doc.

"Great Scott!"

Great expression in the eyes. And I like the light softness of the hair too. It gives the picture a really tight focus that adds to the cinematic feel.

His right eye (our left) is actually really quite oversized but I think it helped with the expression and seemed more Lloydian than when I shrank it down anyway. Cheers Val!
