Trying to watch the second episode of hightown. 15 minutes in, there's been lesbian sex (involving a hetero girl, somehow) and a guy wanking off while listening to others having phone sex. I think it's going off my list. But now what should I do until bedtime? Mobile games?

I don't recommend it.

Today I am watching Damsel. Judging by the trailer not the usual damsel in distress but rather the usual opposite of the usual, so to speak... It's got Billie what'sit from Stranger Things. Bobby. Millie? Millie Bobby Brown, did I get it right, now?

For the most part I thought the dragon looked pretty interesting. Reminding me a bit of a werewolf somehow. But at the end when you see all of it and it's out flying in daylight... I'm not sure. Wings seemed a bit too stiff and maybe small... It also seemed more monochrome than it did in the cave... And, while there was a fair bit of action and the prospect of a not entirely happy ending the actual very very end was a bit sugary sweet, I guess. But all in all I rather liked it.

I've just watched an old Montalbano movie for lack of anything else but I don't get the plot... The mafia wanted some stuff from a guy who refused. They then threatened him with a compromising photo... so he still refused, stole his own and another persons stuff, and destroyed his own while pretending it was the other person's stuff that was destroyed. And was willing to commit all kinds of crimes just to hide the fact that it was his own stuff that was destroyed... And I don't get it. How does that help him with the mafia???
