It's a long time since I watched Firefly so all these references are sailing way over my head no matter where its brain may be. 
The only thing I clearly remember from that show is "Mercy is the mark of a great man."
It made me laugh then and still does now every time I think of it.

Previously on here I have often complained about the way Netflix has the second and third of The Lord of the Rings movies but not the first one. 
But that first one was on TV this week, so with that safely recorded I shall begin to watch it in a few moments time.
Of course I shall not promise to stay awake, especially as it's 3 and more hours, plus I have been horribly tired all day (even wanted to go to sleep the instant I woke up
) but I shall enjoy every moment seen with open eyes.
