Watching John Carpenter's Vampires. Baldwin's character ain't none too smart...

Baldwin, injured: LOOK! *points to blood*
Almost-vampire: *tries to drink*
Baldwin: What the hell? You tried to bite me! WHY???

Edit: Something happened in the French city of "Bursiyeh" (Bezier)

I didn't think it THAT bad :P
Not great either but I can't really remember any horror movie that I actually thought "good"

Meanwhile, the riveting exploits at Bly Manor continue to slowly reveal things we know, very slowly.

I'm wondering which classic novel that had a very well made film adaptation in the early 60s will be next for them to take and turn in to an overlong melodrama with lengthy monologging :hmm:

I can't remember the name of the movie and perhaps it's not even based on a book, but did they do that one where there's a rickety staircase and maybe an experiment? And a couple or so women go crazy and kill themselves or something? Pretty sure it was in black and white... :dumb:

Only if this team makes it I'm sure anyone who ends up dead will be killed by ghosts...

You are vaguely describing The Haunting (kind of), which was the story The Haunting of Hill House was based on (based on in as much as they used the name and the idea of there being a house).

oh so they already used that...
I'm not well versed in ghost stories. I liked horror as a kid but I don't recall much of it.
I read Stephen King until I realised he was more gory than scary...
And I really liked Koontz until I realised that the end of his stories always inclue a petite brunette, a dog and plenty of rifles.
I also recall thinking one of Whitley Strieber's books so creepy that I had to make sure I couldn't see the cover, in the bookshelf.... (It was a bloody werewolf paw print on white)

My childhood fears were two:
fire
werewolves
(though admittedly I was also terribly afraid of being laughed at/made a fool of - but it didn't keep me awake at night...)

I started watching DC Titans.... There's a detective (apparently former Batman's Robin) who looks to be about.... 3? years old...
