The highlight for me in this last collection is Mark Wahlberg's mouth. It's a very funny and recognisable little expression and a great bit of observation.
I think half the effort of caricatures is being able to notice and exploit those little things.

I do often spend longer looking for reference than I do painting, hoping to come across something that has just the perfect expression or look that's specific to the subject.

That subtle, squinty angle to the eyes is very good and very recognisable. It's just a little thing among the more obvious features but it makes the likeness even better.

Yeah, it's something that's more obvious when he smiles or raises his eyebrows than when his face is in repose, but it's an important feature in making him recognisable.
