I don't care if they're cakes or biscuits, I really can't stand Jaffa Cakes. :sick:

yeah... I looked a bit closer and thought they looked a bit like chokladbiskvier which I like but then I looked even closer and the filling seem to be some sort of jam? *shudders*

It's the filling that's gross. It's just so very orange-y.

Give me a Custard Cream any day. That IS a biscuit, definitely not a cake. :)

I just wish mustard and custard weren't so similar... took me ages to learn which was which and I still don't think "custard cream" sounds particularly yummy...

Custard creams are awful, as are Jaffa cakes.digestives & shortcake are the biscuits of class, and none of yer fancy chocolate digestives either, plain is all you need

Nononononono.

Custard creams ARE lovely, closely followed by *chocolate* digestives, eaten with the chocolate side down so the full flavour sits right on the tongue, plus a thick shortbread finger to complete the tryptych of biccies.
Always three there are.

Digestives with butter and cheese. Yum. I wonder if I can make something similar with nut-flours?
And pretty much EVERYTHING is good with chocolate. Except jaffa cakes, obviously.

also, how short are shortcakes exactly? And can one make a tall order of them?

It's almost midnight and someone has to get up at 6 am *shudders*
