I definitely agree it's worth watching, have a glass of wine with it to dull the trauma

I usually don't mind dark, but I'm not sure what kind of darkness we're talking about here :?

Well there's the darkness of creepy fantasy monsters which is somewhat eclipsed by the darkness of war and fascism in the real world. But such wonderful designs in that fantasy world.

In slightly lighter film news: I watched the new Jungle Book over Christmas and thought it was absolutely wonderful!
When they announced they were remaking it my first thought was Why??? But after seeing it my second thought was Ah, yes, that's why. :)

Oh no!
I just realised I forgot to watch "Legend" the other day o.O (and it was shown again around noon today) I'll have to catch it wednesday when it's shown again... I'll probably think it sucks, but I did like it when I first saw it. I thought Mia Sara was sooooo pretty

Which version? The US release was heavily cut down and had a score by Tangerine Dream, the European cut was longer and had the originally intended score by Jerry Goldsmith. I like both but I prefer the longer edit.

uh... no idea... :?
EDIT: watching it now... Today's effects are a bit different :P and so's the story telling, I think... And Gump is creepy.
EDIT 2: I still dunno which film it was but there was some US adressthingy at the end (in the credits) so maybe it was the us version... Either way I don't think I ever want to see that much of Tom Cruise's legs ever again...

Looked through my DVD's - the only one I found that made any sense was "Crimson Peaking" and possibly "The Ravening" I suppose...
