Totally Random

You all, already know I play GW2, but I can't even think of a funny way to describe it. I usually just go with "you have this character that runs around bashing things over the head. It's fun" (which basically describes an awful lot of games, but since most people I talk to don't have a clue, it's kind of enough...)

There's guilds, there's wars, there's 2 of them.

and there's not much happening here or anywhere* so I'll probably play some of those guild wars.

*unless you count the book I'm reading where the nanny has now gone to bed with both granpa (83) and the kids' elder brother (18).

EDIT: and the story game too of course. I'll see if I can get something down "on paper" later. Just now I'm cursing the map in GW2 which was telling me the closest way to my target was to go due east, but then led me back to a point due north of where I started...

EDIT2: Can't say much happened in game either. Was gonna complete something before TV and ended up missing the whole show because that "something" involved a very slow process of defeating a giant stone statue... (where pretty much my only task was to keep away the enemy that could "heal" the statue, only my allies - NPCs - got sidetracked all the time and nobody was doing much damage to the statue at all, unless I did that too... and dodged some annoying spectral spheres that would blow me half to hell if I didn't dodge in time, and sometimes did even if I did... dodge...)

I guess that's the advantage of falling asleep in the afternoon. There's nothing on TV to miss...

I just found out that Drax's stunt double's surname is de Groot.

That's so good! Although why Drax needs a stunt double is beyond me, he's indestructible
