I can't decide exactly when to go on vacation this summer. Planning to divide it in two I think, having an early one for my sister's birthday and midsummer and then maybe a later couple of weeks. Considered having time off when the medieval festival is, then I thought I've seen it ten times it's not that much fun - and then I thought - this IS the tenth time. Maybe I should make it fun(ner) somehow... Maybe I should finally get around to finishing the dress I decided to make in 2008...

If they are calling it a tenth anniversary festival surely it must be funnerer

oh it's not their tenth - just mine I think it's.... more like the 30th or so? I think there was an anniversary or sorts a couple of years ago.

Oh my, what a night!
First we had to try to escape zombies (but I still took the time to admire how "well made" the scenery was, I think I considered it all a computer game but we were really "in" it) and then all the zombies ran away because the vampires were coming. Not sure why zombies fear vampires, but maybe someone here can explain...

I know! And right between the two there was this group of I dunno... kind of MMO game demonish characters that stayed behind when the zombies left, and a woman attacked their leader in what we all thought was a doomed suicide mission, but she actually succeeded in defeating him. Only that somehow meant she became the new demonic leader, even though it was against her will. So she turned into a big monster. Oops.
