Cool starts guys , everything's questionable at this stage Val, even if this mess will develop further! :S

Apparently I meant "Soap"... Which wasn't even called Sallad in Swedish though I for some reason remember it being Dallas backwards...

Looking good Micro - your usual excellent blend of texture and lighting is real evident here!

Val - Good start mate and who cares if it's reminiscent of the way Iron Man flies - these comic artists use these poses for a reason - because it works! I'm sure Marvel weren't the first to depict that kind of flying pose - all things invariably have their routes in the work of the old masters.

Speaking of Superheroes I was really disappointed that my Warlocks pose was reminding me too much of Superman when my intention was actually quite the opposite so I've changed it up some.
No longer your archetypal 'mage' pose I'm actually a lot happier with it.
And before anyone asks no those aren't supposed to be gloves but they will extend in an organic way up his arms when I'm done. The skin tone is also way too healthy looking right now but I plan to sort that out with a translucent layer later and then work back in to it to produce some boils, scars, lumps and bumps.

2nd attempt:

Val like the angle of this pose
Micro Dramatic start looks epic
Atto love the way you develop expressive hands and forms
I posted something the other day but removed it again the next day I will try and make another start soon.

Thanks Oaktree, I think I mentioned before that I really enjoy twisted forms and ugly muscles, I often revert to the shorthand method (which is great in its own way) of drawing bodies in these challenges due to time limitations and the need to edit my refs to fill a brief but thats not what I wanted to do here.

Another update before I retire for the night.

this one really has a ton of pontential man, there´s so much room to put in some narrative and epicness.

you just need to rearrange things a little bit to make it more dramatic.

bring the character a little bit more the foreground, so we can focus on the action, and make him a focal point
