As usual her head seems large though - it's almost the same size as her entire torso. Still, I don't think that's a problem if you're willing to make her cute and a bit "cartoonish". If you're going for realism, you might need to check her proportions, though, and maybe not just the head. I think her torso might be a bit short as well. But she's looking cute so far, so I rather hope you keep her that way!

I have resized her noggin, so now it may make more sense. I have also reduced the size of her hair, as the previous size looked stupid on the smaller head.
In addition I have worked her face up a bit. It felt good to do it too, as I have been trained by this forum to not focus on the detail until I get all the basics down. After resizing her head, I felt that the basics were all there and so zoomed to 100% and worked some detail into the face. Ace!
Though... it seems like you can't really see it. It looked much better on the larger screen I was working on! Oh well....

Did you do one like this before? The pose looks quite familiar?

I was reasonably happy with what I did back then, but thought I might like to take another stab at it using what I have learned since then.

I did a little bit of work on the composition (levelled her arm a little) and I also played around with closing her eyes. What do you think? Eyes open, or eyes shut?
I will get to the changes you mentioned as soon as I can Kaz. Well observed!
.... But then I forgot to post up the image! Rectified now!
