I thought Valheim was a less cartoony looking game

I am installing Dragon Age.
Slowly.

It'll be a long wait before I work out whether my PC can actually run it.

Oh, and a warning: If you haven't already got the EA App/Launcher... you will be getting the EA App/Launcher.
I do already have it thanks to Need For Speed and it's just as annoying as all the other launchers. Well, maybe not that old Bethesda one.

*waits for the remaining 22GB to arrive*

I'm pretty sure I used the launcher to download the freebie...

Actually I did look it up and the screenshots seem less cartoony though they keep having cartoon characters in the foreground. I suspect I am confusing it with some other game... (Because I have a different idea of the graphics in my head...)

Just think of all the fun you would have building long ships, breeding wild boar, and farming carrots

Well you use the Epic launcher to claim it but when you come to install it sends you off to get the EA App too.
I thought it had finished a minute ago but it's now installing all the DLC which may take some time. Some more time.

And despite it's low-res texture style Valheim IS one of those games that doesn't run well for me so the wild boar will have to breed without me.

And the poor carrots too...

I thought EA was "epic app" So what's the EA???

And it's kind of annoying that the progress bar is red as if something has gone wrong. So when something does go wrong you don't notice. And something just went wrong.
It's OK. A quick pause and unpause did the trick.
But there's quite a lot of DLC to download.
