I do try, occasionally. (Why do I always misspell that word twice before I get it right? )
But I've realised that while I've tried to set up folders neatly in my "Documents" various other programs also add their own folders into there, immediately messing up my order. I'm considering making another folder outside of Documents, for my ACTUAL documents and stuff.

Edit: It is also very, very annoying when you're trying to do something you've done before and just can't figure it out.  
And yet another edit: Apparently I shouldn't have extracted the contents of the zip before installing the addon in Blender.  

I just dump most things in the Downloads folder.

But I do have some subfolders in Documents for Blender models and paintings.

Corel is one of the worst offenders  Their brush packs all come with individual installers that each dump a folder into the documents folder instead of placing them into a single unified location. I also hate installers that casually stick an icon on my desktop without asking me first 

Luckily I don't have Corel

and I also dislike it when they don't ask about desktop icons. I usually place them in the waste bin...

The bin is where they all belong. Stupid icons messing up my nice clean desktop

I've just inadvertently refined ALL my Rough Hickory and now have to carry around a double stack of 280 planks or waste another bank slot.
I was only supposed to do 20.

I knew it was coming cos after I'd left Windhelm to make my way to that place for the Nightingale quest I could see Alduin doing his thing in the far distance so I was ready for it and took down Viinturuth with a few well placed glass arrows.
And maybe Brelyna's nuclear fireballs helped too.
We continued on towards that questy place but were interrupted near the Nightgate inn by a courier chap and...

Uh-oh. They know. 🖐
Secret stuff ensued.
