I keep wondering why there are wedding rings on all the epic wrapping "papers"... and then I realise it's baubles. Rinse and repeat, next day. And year.

Mine's never minimised itself

After some quick testing it does indeed seem to be the mouse clicking that it doesn't register causing it to quit the menu, using the keyboard to navigate the menu's appears to work fine

Actually, I think I might have done that by accident once or twice

Anyway, I have bought land and built a house!
It's just a small (empty) cottage so far, and a stables. Now I need more lumber.

The houses should have quantum lockers though, like in Subnautica below zero (or is that just a mod I've seen? I've never bothered building them anyway, but in Skyrim they could definitely come in handy...)

You can navigate the menus with WASD and E for selecting.

I have a feeling I should have realised that

It's so very annoying when you can HEAR a dragon all the time, but you can't see it.

(Actually, it attacked me right at home and killed my horse but then it also killed me, which is - kind of surprisingly - the first time that happened... and when I was resurrected/the last autosave was loaded, the dragon wasn't there yet and I left for other things. But I still hear it... Somewhere. )

But speaking of my new home, is there anywhere that shows where each item you can make at the "furniture stations" will go? That way I can at least get some measure of customisation in the place, I'm thinking...

I don't think so. I just recall seeing plans for the outside in terms of where the towers go etc.
I still haven't completed the inside bits of mine. I just focused most on the greenhouse so that I could plant things and have some noisy bees flying around inside.

I have straw for an apiary!
Or a bed...

But I need more wood again...
