You too? I thought it was just me and my honeyed words! I think it's only happened once that my persuasion didn't work and I had to resort to money instead...

I gave up trying in Morrowind because it was pretty much guaranteed to fail, and bribery would just cost me loads of money and not get me anywhere. Maybe that was down to being an Orc 

I was rubbish at persuasion in the early game.
I even tried to wear this thing as often as possible...
 
...and it didn't really help.
I'm much better now obviously.

Anyway... about that unique tree in Egypt..

Found it!
Had to fly Senu around quite a bit to find the other canyon.
And there were lots of crocodiles down there.

I'm also having to stay away from roads at the moment. Ptolemy's Fist seems to be getting ever closer to me and I'm not quite sure I'm levelled enough yet to kill him.

oh well I think I have a necklace or amulet that does that. Not that I ever remember to use them...
