I have now accidentally bought a dog. Then it disappeared. But now it's back. And a dragon scared off (I hope) my horse. But it also killed three hunters and foour or five forsworn (I lost count, there were bodies everywhere), so I got oodles of loot. Which I had to drag slowly back since I can't find my horse. And I only went out of the city to pass some time so that the merchants would get new coin to purchase my previous loot and now I have even more to sell
And it's still at least one more day before the merchants start paying again...

...and while just running up those steps there, to check something out rather than press T to wait 24 hours (if that can even be done), I ran straight into three thugs and being my usual slow self I just kind of stopped right in front of them and stared until they attacked... Well, anyway, now I have even MORE loot.

And hey, woman who hired them, I tried to HELP your husband, I wasn't the one who killed him, OK?! :shakefist:
Not that that seems to be why she hired them. I bet she doesn't even care her husband's dead.

Edit: And now I know why they always say "Stupid Dog". Because I definitely told the dog to WAIT HERE and guard my loot barrel and instead he came along and killed two of the thugs. (They were already staggering at that point, but yes, Lydia killed one and the dog two and I was busy trying to eat enough grilled salmon to survive...)

Edit 2: I'm also getting tired of all the faulty/outdated info found online when googling something. Apparently Ogmund can never train you in the street, only inside the Inn. Except before I read that, I trained with him, in the street.

Edit 3:
*sees a woman crouching down by a dead guard and goes to talk to her, thinking she might be a grieving widow or something*
"Why can't the men of this town leave me alone?"
I'm pretty sure that man was leaving her as alone as anyone possibly could, seeing as he was stone dead and all...

And a guard called me sneakthief! The nerve!

My dog was a stray that didn't cost me anything. :)
And then my adopted child "stole" it. :pout:

The dog is annoying. I'd give you mine for free but from what I understand it has a tendency to run back to its previous owner and when it does you need to buy it again, every time. And it just barks and barks and barks. AND when I went fishing I heard it barking and barking and then when I turned around, it was right behind me! I TOLD it to wait by my barrel! :stare:

I liked my dog friend.
But it did get involved in too many fights.
Have you done the story with the "other" dog yet? :hmm:
That one is not quite as stupid. :giggle:

Anyway I've been spending many minutes flying my eagle around Egypt trying to find a very specific tree as part of one of those papyrus treasure hunts but couldn't quite locate it.
Never mind then. Let's try and meet Cleopatra instead. :woohoo:
There were a few extra little quests on the way but this chap with the long spear might finally be taking me to see her...

I was worried that this was gonna be a long tedious escort mission across some dangerous land but I was pleasantly surprised when he got in a boat with me which let us take a safer shortcut.
I hope the big boss lady likes cats cos quite a few suddenly decided to join me just after I took this screenshot.

Must remember to kneel. :aha:

If you mean the talking one, yup I met it. Haven't followed up on it, though. I was under a curse and thought it best to lift that first, and then.... I got drunk, so... :paranoid:

What? Hey! Wait!?
:?
Why would that dragon just circle overhead and then disappear over the mountain tops???

Come here you big lizard, I'm not over encumbered yet! :shakefist:

I prefer it when that happens.
Sometimes when they can't find a good place to land they just can't be bothered with you. :)

And now of course I am. Didn't see the dragon again, though. But after killing a mudcrab that mysteriously first sank into the water and then, after I gave up on trying to find it, appeared by the roadside and my horse... and then clearing out some draugr (and kind of "failing" a quest I didn't really want to complete by killing the quest giver - and don't look at me that way, I had my reasons - I was returning by the same route, just slightly over encumbered. When I reached the dead mudcrab there were three soldiers standing there, and two corpses on the ground. Of course I had to get off my horse and very slowly drag myself to the other side of it, so I could figure out what was going on. The "soldiers" then claimed I had to pay a fee, so I killed them too. Horsey helped. And Lydia too, I guess. So now I am very over encumbered. :aha:
