How do you change your character's appearance mid-game?

Also, those are not sabre cats, they are mammoths, though I see how you'd get confused as they both have big teeth

(Admittedly the dumb horse attacked the troll when I had thought I had "parked" her far enough away to stay out of it.... The troll wasn't even attacking me, it was attacking some random Nord guy)

She's with the Thieves' Guild in The Ragged Flagon.

Or if you don't want to travel all the way there and spend money you can always open up the console and type "showracemenu" but, as with all console-related things, make a save beforehand and DON'T CHANGE YOUR RACE OR SEX! This apparently causes major problems.

And even though there were lots of mammoths annoying everyone else it WAS a sabre cat that attacked me from behind. If that had been a mammoth too I would definitely have been dead first.
I have still never survived an aggressive mammoth encounter.

Oh right the face changer. I did meet her. Never occurred to me that she would be an appearance modifier...

as for the throat, so far it's not getting any better. It's not really getting much worse either, which is kind of confusing. Usually with a cold, I feel a "little something" in the morning and is quite ill by evening, but this is just slightly worse than yesterday afternoon... Well, I guess I should be glad, but still. Am I ill or am I not? I need to know by tomorrow morning... (and at this rate I still won't be certain.... though I guess I should at least work from home, just in case...)

Maybe I took a wrong turn after crashing into that herd of roaming deer, the map did seem to send me cross-country after that.
The customer didn't even offer a tip.
But at least he paid. I had two "runners" tonight so I ran them over and looted the hard earned fare.

Now let me do some more of my favourite overtaking-on-the-inside as I go to assassinate someone who's picking up a prostitute...

I could have made more but I chickened out at 14%. Not really a "diamond hands" kind of person, not even in video games with quick saves.

Today I found a small road I never noticed before (in the vicinity of Whiterun). It led to a cave with two angry trolls who killed me very quickly. Twice. Then I googled the place and apparently you get a quest related to that place, somewhere somehow, but I figured I'll save it for when I do.

I also managed to set 4 out of 5 skellies on fire And then just before the flames went out, the fifth one stepped right into them. Well, his loss, my loot.

I'm still not sure if my throat is getting better or worse, but for contagious reasons I will still need to work from home tomorrow. Without my work computer.

And yes, I just started playing Skyrim... after sleeping most of the morning. I am now definitely and officially down with a cold.

It already killed me twice.

Have you got the three word shout yet?
That's always pretty good for taking out things of that size like big cats, bears and trolls. It even helps with giants too, but not mammoths.

No, I got Ro (and the sprint one) from the greybeards and found Kyne (again). I've also only killed 2 dragons with this character, though I have no fast travelled a gazillion times between Whiterun and Ivarstead to get all my loot back without a horse, so I guess a dragon will swoop down as soon as I leave Whiterun next.

I also forgot to go back into that barrow after I got the new shouts. Oh well...
