Sometimes I'm even dead before I get to him thanks to those guys that respawn just after the savepoint.
But I have got another skill point to put somewhere. Maybe that'll help next time.

Also a junk email is telling me that Ubisoft is giving away another old Splinter Cell game. Don't know which one yet, hopefully not the same as the last one they gave away.

It looks Dead Spacey because it's made by the original creators of Dead Space who went off and started up another company after EA shut them down. According to EA nobody plays single player horror games any more, but then they saw the Resident Evil remakes making bucket loads of money and decided to remake Dead Space because loads of people play single player horror games.

It seems to be the very first one. The one they gave away before that I have was Chaos Theory. I haven't played either because I'm being super stealthy and sneaking up on them slowly. 

I decided to try to join the Companions this time...
First task, let Vilkas test your skill. Sure, fine, let's go in the courtyard.
First try, I die (I'm pretty sure I'm being attacked by three people, not just Vilkas)
Second try, I manage to convince Vilkas I'm good enough, and while he's talking and I can't actually move or do anything (well, I could have tabbed out of the convo, I guess), someone's still going at me from behind and just as Vilkas finished his little speech, I fall dead at his feet.
I don't think I like the Companions.
Also, I should probably tell Lydia to wait elsewhere. I suspect her involvement is what makes the other companions upset and angry...

Edit: Nope, wasn't Lydia's fault. Guess I'll have to wait for a time when Vilkas is alone out there so his friends stay out of the way. *sigh*

I didn't have that problem, but I did those quests very early before I even had a follower.

Edit: internet says it is a follower issue. Leave her behind and try unequiping weapons to fight with just your fists.
