Well, in Skyrim, those immersive little details seem to mostly be Lydia pushing you aside so she can stand exactly where you just stood.

Arissa apologises and gets out of your way.
Really!

However Brelyna usually summons a Frost Atronach that's too big to go through a door leaving everyone trapped in a room until it dies.
That's why I left her behind when going through that dungeon.

Lydia just goes "ow!" in that annoyed (and annoying) way that implies she thinks it's my fault that she walked right into me.

Today I managed to stumble and tumble AGAIN, on my way to the train, so there wasn't much more to do than limp back home again, and try to work from home. Which didn't work. Hours later my knee is still quite painful, but luckily Skyrim helps to distract me somewhat... More than work, on which I couldn't focus at all.

So... No spoilers but I think the creators of Skyrim has read *****

And with regards to my knee, the bruising had just started to fade, even down on my foot where everything had moved due to gravity. My foot is still a bit sore and tender but it was looking a lot better than it did yesterday. And now it'll all start over again But it does seem to be worse this time, probably since I hit the exact same area of my knee and lower leg that I hit last time and which hadn't quite recovered yet... (The fall itself was a bit less serious this time.)

And while it's entirely off-topic here I'm going to take the opportunity to whine about mom. Last time I fell I had no idea what had happened and was a bit worried I had fainted or that it was in some other way caused by my (lately) very low blood pressure. But mom just brushed that off as unlikely. THIS time I felt my foot twist (so yeah, apart from my left knee my right ankle also hurts now ) as I stumbled on a small rock or twig or something so I know why I fell. And this time mom starts worrying me with questions about whether the sensitivity of my feet has been reduced due to the diabetes (nerve damage - it does happen but they haven't seen any such signs in my feet, yet). Sometimes I hate talking with her.

Until a random guard says, "I used to be an adventurer like you, but then I took an arrow to the... Oh. Sorry."

Gandalf kicked out (he's sleeping next to my computer/left arm) just as I discovered some... well, enemies. Guess who died? (And did I go flying....)
