Yeah I saw it said on the store page that Charlotte liked it back in the day despite not being a fan of platform games, yet I still didn't bother. I think it also said some guy on the internet knows another guy who says it's pretty good.

I love it when you quit playing Witcher 3 and the music still plays on.
It's still playing now as I type this!
But, yay, it's Ciri flashback time.
Although I'm still not sure if I botched up that quest before. Was I looking for this guy or that guy, and should I have fed the thing to the thing? Or not? And if so what? And why was every door locked? And is there even a key or was the moat thing the right way to go?
I just love it when the quest splits into seperate stories with absolutely nothing to tell you which one you HAVE to do first.
Anyway, I'm sure I'll work it out next time after I get through this rather creepy Ciri flashback.
At least the music's stopped now.
Oh, wait. It's started up again.
Shut up, I'm not playing that game any more!

After a very tentative spoiler-sensitive google search I can safely conclude that the quest has gone awry.
I only read a little bit and it mentioned loads of things that didn't happen to me.
So I guess I'm going back to that previous save with moody Yennefer waiting for the boat.
It's all her fault cos I was following her and it seems she led me into a place that triggers the wrong part of the story.

Ok, I think I've fixed that problem by going to "this" place without going to "that" place first on the walk to "this" place.
And now I have a key.
And so back to the Ciri flashback again...
And this was a wonderfully cinematic fight..
Unfortunately I died even though it's a much lower level quest than I'm currently at due to my tardiness.
But I was trying to remember Master Banj's advice about Quen
...and forgot that you can't Quen as Ciri. You have to Blink.
And how do you Blink again?
Oh, it's actually the same Right Trigger thing but you have to hold it for a looong time
Hold. To. Blink.
Must remember that next time.

Warning: Spoiler!

To be honest, that setting makes absolutely no difference to whether my Geralt will keep hold of his sword or not.
I had to have a bit of a fist fight with those flappy sirens while balancing on the edge of that boat.
