Oh and in Planet Crafter a new moon has been added and I have deleted all my previous games and started over from zero. I was planning to add some mods too, but haven't got around to it yet. There's one where you can have an animal follow you around everywhere :woohoo: but you can't actually have animals until at the very end of the game so... No rush, I guess.

Oops, I went back to the GOG app and it wanted to update so I told it to, but it was also updating a game. I think I confused it.

I wont be buying Planet Crafter because I already bought Red Dead Redemption 1&2 as they were on sale

So I see. Though Planet Crafter at 50% is cheaper. Just so you know. :aha: And on sale at Steam too - which is where I have it.

Although if one also buys the Toxicity DLC (which I have done) the total is a bit more than Red Dead 2, I suppose...

I'm tired and rambling. I'm gonna go

I hope you have enough VRAM to not get the permanent warning message at the top of the screen cos it's really annoying. :)

Green Hell is only about 2 Euro right now... I think I could afford that  You own it already Banj, is it worth 2 Euro? It seems a bit similar to Sons of the Forest (though Steam compares it to Planet Crafter and Conan Exiles among my games. Maybe it's 'cause I haven't reinstalled Sons of the Forest yet :hmm: )

I think that's roughly what I paid for it and it was worth it. I would say there are probably a few similarities to the Forest games, I think the others are mentioned just because they have "survival" and "crafting" tags. I found the main storyline very enjoyable, although it is pretty punishing at the start until you work out how everything works. The secondary prequel storyline that is included was less enjoyable and could be pretty tedious at times, but I suspect that was largely because I was trying to play it the same way as the main story and I suspect it's meant to be taken at a slower pace with a bit more base building than I was doing. It also has some fund moments though when you suddenly realise where you are in relation to the original story, and how things have changed. As far as building goes, I found the resources needed for most of the things took far too long to gather (not to mention the energy used in the process), so I spent the game just building the bare minimum (a 3 legged frame with a roof, a fire, and a simple leaf bed) and kept moving. I did attempt to build a tree house early on once I found a village, but gave up because I felt I was going to die of starvation if I carried on. The combat is fairly clunky, so it's best played as a stealth game, and the few bits of combat you need to engage in with natives was best dealt with using a bow from distance.
