Oh and today's Ubisoft thing is Trials Rising.
In the past Epic coupons have only worked if you're already spending a certain amount of "real" money so maybe the info pops up at the checkout?

Any an all misspellings are henceforth blamed on the cats.
I would assume so, but... I'd like to find the info before I decide to purchase anything... oh well, 'tis the season of freebies, so...

So I run the Epic Launcher to claim the freebie and now I have to sit through a 9GB update for GTA V Online.
And I never even play the online version.
*waits*
Must try and find that setting to switch off automatic updates.
EDIT: 3GB to go.

Had a go on Trials Rising last night and it wasn't at all like I expected.
I thought it was gonna be a normal racing game but it plays more like a physics-based platform game. And it was quite fun too as well as being punishingly frustrating. The varied number of ways you can fail is surprisingly entertaining.
Even though I didn't go into the multiplayer mode "ghosts" of other players' performances still appear during races to compete against and I only hope no one else was able to see my own efforts as my ineptitude was highly embarrassing.

Hmm GOG has a game called Ancestors on sale. Play as an ape that evolves into human
Looks and sounds cool but there's a review on the page that says it's realllly boring
EDIT: And Epic's freebie is Oddworld: Abe's Oddysee
I remember playing and liking is as a kid (this is a remake) but I can't really recall what you were supposed to do. I'm pretty sure I didn't understand that at the time....
Anyway, downloaded.
