I did not murder an innocent giant!
It was self defence. That baddie giant tried to club me.
You could tell he was a baddie because the music changed. I was peacefully riding my horse towards Riverwood, humming along to the lovely Past To Present tune , as I often do, and then suddenly a tall chap appears, looks at me menacingly and before you know what's happening Blood And Steel starts playing.
That's when you know you're in trouble.
And I hummed along to that too as I "defended myself!"

Still travelling to Riften in Skyrim. It's a long way with lots of twisty paths up and down mountains which makes it seem even longer.
I managed to make the necessary progress on that second quest that was on the way (but that was a tough guy to beat. On my first attempt he killed me with one blow!
I gave him a few shouts the next time around. And the next time. And the next time. etc.) and after all that I noticed on the map that I was quite close to my Forgotten Windmill. I'd ironically forgotten about that.
So I popped over...
...and managed to pick the Master level lock this time!
And I then continued on into some areas I've never been before and proceeded to enjoy the new sights. The falls at Darkwater Pass were particularly impressive.
I think I'd seen them from a distance at night but it was much better close up in daytime. Onwards I rode and also found Mzulft (not to be confused with Mzuleft in Morrowind. These Dwemer names never stop confusing me.
)
I'll save that particular exploration for another time because I am supposed to be going to Riften!
I'll get there eventually. Promise.

Just got destroyed by a Blood Dragon.
Found a lair not far from my last save point so I thought I'd have a little looky-loo. Damn thing screeched and took to the air before I could even get close, And it stayed airborne too, cruelly exposing my rubbish archery skills.
After toying with me for a while it finally landed, so I charged in for the Big Bash and it kept hitting me with magic breath that left me momentarily blinded and stunned. Then it came in for the kill and chomped down on me like the T-Rex did to that lawyer in Jurassic Park!
Didn't even get chance for a screenshot.
Dead!
