I wasn't sure that carnivores would eat narcoberries. Just keep clubbing.

I tried to have a go on Oblivion last night and it wouldn't launch!
Then Steam gave me the helpful option to buy the game. THAT I ALREADY HAVE! :angry:

So today I put on my Hat Of Fury and marched over to the Steam website, straight to the store page, then the discussion forum and.... I saw that everyone is having the same issue.

It seems like someone somewhere has botched something up with the current sale. But if everyone's having the problem then maybe they'll fix it quickly.

You have to force feed narcoberries from what I understand (put them in the animal's inventory, click E?)

Woohoo! The Steam problem has been fixed by going into settings, clearing the download cache and logging in again. Phew!

I can now ride on the horse that I've borrowed. (Yes, BORROWED, not stolen! )



And I've also acquired one of my favourite "Big Bash" swords too.

Strange as it may seem, I am actually telling the truth there.
The guy at the priory said I could indeed borrow his horse from the stables.

So I walked up the path to the stables and saw two horses there. Now which is the one I can borrow?
That one?
I jump on and guards immediately start running at me...
"Then pay with your blood!"

So I reload and pick the other one...
Guards: "Pay with your blood!"


After a bit of aimless wandering I realised that the chap meant the other stables behind the priory.

And an interesting thing of note. Apparently, when stealing a horse, if you're not careful the horse itself is a "witness" to the crime.
So you have to sneak up on them from behind where they can't see you otherwise it'll somehow report you to a guard and...

"PAY WITH YOUR BLOOD!"

Just sent Geralt off on a quest with a magic lamp and had to put up with Keira on the phone!
At least she didn't say "Gavella Glan" again.
And nothing she said helped me against the 59 Ghouls that kept killing me. OK, there weren't really 59 of them. Maybe just six.
But you know the struggles I have against multiple baddies. Even some manic "Quenning" didn't help.
Wait a minute- Are they all dead? Did I get them all? Yes?
YES! F5, F5, F5, F5!

Now onwards I go. With my magic lamp in my hand and Keira in my ear...
