Space must have too many Shep(p)ards and not enough sheep!
And finally... FINALLY!
One dead dino...
And that was frustrating. Even when I did manage the headshot it wouldn't crash into the correct place so it took much longer than it was supposed to.
I think I now have to backtrack a bit to find the other cog that I missed before I can activate some olde machine thing.

Those hazy sunsets look beautiful.
And I tried and failed to get a good screenshot of the Witcher 1 tavern cat.
It wouldn't come down from the window.
Had a crazy few days in Skyrim!
I ended up getting into trouble, found myself a bit out of my depth, had to kill some fellows, then go on the run and finally ended up in prison.
Lots of games seem to lock you up at some point (including The Witcher) but it always feels like part of a linear story that'll be over soon. However in Skyrim it felt awful being in there. There's so many other things to do, places to go to and so many overlapping plots that it really felt like they had taken away my freedom!
I wanted to go home, play with my cat, see my dog, ride my horse, make some crafty things or a salty meal, but instead I was stuck for an indefinite time in a grubby mine with a load of whiny, angry men who wanted to blame everyone else for their problems.
Anyway, I did what every new prisoner should do... find the biggest guy and beat him up to show everyone not to mess with me!
And after a few more chores and investigations, a bit of storytelling, drug-dealing, fisticuffs and secret stabbing, I finally managed to instigate a mass escape.
And once everyone had charged out of the tunnel there was a massive fight through the streets. Looked quite dangerous so I just stayed out of it.
Sadly a few of the innocent locals got caught up in the fracas and died.
And I mean proper "dead" not that Mass Effect-style of coming back to life when the fight's over. Nope they gone.
I may pop in to the Hall Of The Dead to pay my respects and pretend that I wasn't involved.

No, my life is.. [QUICK SAVE] ....nothing like Skyrim.
Oh and I have now installed LA Noire and got it to launch... eventually. Had to do a bit of internet research and then ran Steam as Administrator and that did the trick.
Frame rate looked a little choppy so I may have to knock the resolution down a bit but should be OK.
