What profession did you go with? Janitor?

Yes. I am already annoyed. The garage is so dark I can't search for anything and there appears to be no light switch inside the door. I have no source of light to be able to look around my own garage 

Have you tried F?

I expected to have to find a torch instead of just having one that isn't mentioned anywhere in the inventory. And it's daytime now so I can see in the garage anyway

If only I had been aware I had some injuries and could have dealt with them using all the bandages I had on me   I suspect I might not be playing this for very long. Having to constantly open the inventory to check if you are dying is stupid.

It improved when I respawned as a completely different person that I didn't even get to create   But I now have a load of weapons, supplies, a vehicle, and I just found a new house to live in (largely because I couldn't find my house again after I went looting). I wonder why so many Americans have houses with no beds, and why they often don't put light switches inside the doorways 

It is still as clunky as I thought it was, but once you get going it becomes a bit more enjoyable. Now I just need to work out how to build things
