Gaming

I've tried the haunted house renovator demo today. Much like house flipper, you're changing wall papers and getting new furniture, but you also have to get rid of various ghosts and gremlins and stuff. I don't know if there's more then one gremlin (or goblin?) in game but the one I've seen is ballet dancing and wearing princess clothes.

I'm supposedly done with the first place aka tutorial, but I swear there are still hauntings going on. Guess I need to see if I can figure something out on the Steam community pages...

So far, though, I'm mostly annoyed with the limitations on moldings and baseboards which both only come in one colour (but multiple shapes, though the preview is too small to let you see how they differ) as well as the paneling which only seems to be done in wood (so in say bathrooms you need to replace tile walls with wallpaper or wall paper + wood paneling) and also they seem to have forgotten to texturemap some surfaces...

Though I suppose there might be more surface options in the shop... I should remember to take a look.

Edit: Nope - but I guess there will be more options in the full version.

I finished Soma  Very good, would recommend (unless you hate water). Now all that underwater horror made me want to play something completely different, so I'm installing Bioshock 

Yes that sounds very very different...

But for something completely different, the next Palia update will be on December 9th (Tuesday). Not that I've played much lately... But an update might be nice. And you'll need to look for all the winterlight pressies and recipes and such. Actually I think I will need to find the winterlight treasure chests too... Hopefully they'll be in new locations...

I haven't opened Palia for weeks. All those farm animals will have starved to death 

Nah they just get hungry and grumpy. They don't even get very old. I thought mine would all be venerated but apparently they just reach the next age stage and then wait for you to appear.

They could do with adding some actual game to the game 

Like the bouncy? Or chapaa pop?

In other news I appear to have made a terrible mistake and ended up back in the depths of the ocean again. This time with a creepy kid. Who could have possibly seen that coming?
