I decided to play some Skyrim again but it's been so long that I'd rather start a new game. Then the ride to Helgen began and I remembered how long the intro takes so I started looking at alternate start mods. Not sure I care for any of them. I've used Live Another Life before, but apart from skipping the lengthy intro I feel all of the starts are kind of pointless.

So now I am not playing Skyrim after all.
Maybe I should get to bed... It seems a bit early but on the other hand I've been sleepy all day.

Don't you have a save game immediately after all the long intro stuff? I know I do.
I have one in Oblivion too just before you get out of the sewers.
Always have a saved game straight after the intro!

Meanwhile I've just done the very looong coast-to-coast race in The Crew 2.
34 minutes with a quite a few time-wasting crashes along the way. I'd hope to get under thirty minutes once I know the route better (world record is 19 mins! ) but no matter, I wasn't doing it for the time. I was doing it for the cash! $$$$

I have now played the tutorial in Vein. I felt very slow and stupid and half blind doing it. But I might try an actual game later. Not multiplayer though They* can steal your stuff in multiplayer!

*They = people (Then again, I'm not sure multiplayer is actually available in the demo version)

I just came to think of some games I actually finished. Amaranth games made some pixel graphic thingies that I managed to play to the end.

I finished Alan Wake and Alan Wake's American Nightmare. Enjoyed them both. I would say Nightmare is more of a short epilogue to the first game than a full scale game in it's own right. The combat was more polished and enjoyable than the first, but it was also much easier overall and some might not like the groundhog day like aspect to the story. Now to wait a few years for the second game to be given away for free 

After grinding and working very, very hard over the past few days I am currently (just) above the threshold for platinum awards for this week's Live Summit in The Crew 2.
There are four hours left for me to hang on to my place and hope that three hundred people don't pass me in the final moments.

EDIT: Just had to fight a bit more to get another 100 places up the leaderboard. 2 hours left and I'm 196 above the cutoff. They're catching me.

What do you win if they don't catch you? Honour and glory?
