Maybe you should keep them in separate enclosures then. Or eat the boar meat yourself. Why on earth would you eat wolf meat anyway?

Wolf meat produces better food than the Boar meat. Boar are low lever things that you can get at the start of the game, Wolves are encountered much later.

They might kill them in defence, but wouldn't be eating them. Which is pretty much what would happen in reality
