I started watching the haunting of hill house & fell asleep, i’ll have to try again.

Which Tintin are you talking about? I’ve got the 3D movie & I love it, I don’t know why as I hated Tintin as a kid

I grew up with Tintin and Asterix. Then I progressed (?) to Spirou and Franka and then I sort of came to a hault, with regards to comics albums. I just feel they've all got too expensive compared to how quickly you read through them. Same with the usual comics magazines. For some reason I have a recurrent dream theme where I find myself in some sort of obscure library/bookstore that have comics albums if you just know where to look. Sometimes I know where, and sometimes I get distracted by other books. It's just like real life!

I was never much of a comic fan as a kid. Aside from a weekly Beano the only album/book I remember having was the comic version of The Empire Strikes Back which was obviously drawn before the movie was released because they didn't seem to know what Yoda was going to look like and his size seemed to change from one panel to the next.

I remember Tintin from the TV cartoon and when I saw the movie I loved it (even that chase sequence!) I was hoping for a long running franchise with all the source material that's available but I'm still waiting...

I'm going to see the 2nd Fantastic Beasts movie on Saturday morning, I will report back

ooh let me know what you think about it, I really enjoyed the first one, unexpectedly as I don't like Harry Potter. I think it was all the cool creatures

But then again I liked all the Potter books and movies so you might not want to take my word for anything :p
