What...the...what?

What (blursed) universe is this?

Are we getting old if this feels "too soon"? Not to mention it seems like pretty much the same thing except a series instead of a film and with different actors.

That said, I'd probably enjoy watching it if I could stand the HBO commercial breaks, which I can't.

I understand how they'll be able to fit more in because of the longer running time. The movies did cut out quite a bit of the background stuff. But I don't get why they're making it look exactly the same as the movies in terms of design, colour and framing. And with no Alan Rickman or John WIllliams music it'll be hard to stop it feeling like a weaker rehash.
