Depends how long I was sleeping.

I certainly started on the first.
From what I saw and remember it was better than I imagined it to be but I did get annoyed at some cheesy moments when you hear her thoughts. I hope that doesn't continue throughout the series.

I don't know why but I was certain that this was gonna be released at Christmas and was rather frustrated when I looked it up and noted it was still a few months away. I was almost tempted to watch the Chinese version which was on YouTube but I stopped myself.
Must be more patient.

I picked up something about killing scientists (I wonder if they realise how many people in this world are actually scientists?) and well, there might have been aliens.

It's one of those things that I've heard a lot about but despite that I know very little regarding the actual story and I'd like to keep it that way until I watch it.
I may then try to get hold of the book and see what all the fuss is about.

...and sadly so does the occasional voice-over.
I like the bits with the priests and that scientist but the scenes with Ava's silly squatter friends are awful. I keep hoping they're all gonna die when the others find her.

I am watching Dune again seeing as it's appeared on Netflix. I was thinking of rewatching it the other week but couldn't remember where I'd left the DVD remote and this saves me searching for it.

I feel it's the right time for half a film with space bagpipes.
