Yep.

Two consecutive episodes had women thinking they were the murderers when they weren't, for a change, and the episode I just watched had two women trying to kill each other. Just to spice things up a bit...

What if there was no murderer? 

Apparently there would also be no audience. Or there'd be at least one crime show out there that didn't require at least one death per episode.

Now I'm annoyed with the current episode because everyone is pointing out how pale the main character's legs are when he's wearing shorts for the first time ever. Do they think you get a full body tan just by showing your nose to the sun?

But nobody ever seem to question why a Caribbean island needs to have a male brit as the local inspector in spite of having well qualified local staff. (Neville Parker being the fourth male brit on the job, I think.)

I started watching All The Light We Cannot See and got through the first two episodes. It's a little bit cheesy and there are far too many clunky, obvious metaphors about light and truth and a blind girl but it's nicely shot so it's OK if you don't expect anything more. And there are only four episodes so I may finish it tonight and then forget about it.

...and the cheesy melodrama continued, along with an odd little subplot about a special stone.
At least the French people actually got to sing in French when the war was over. The way that they didn't acknowledge different languages throughout the story was a bit awkward.

But how can it be awkward when even aliens speak fluent English?
