At least Counsellor Troi will wear a proper uniform from now on.

Over the weekend I attempted to watch that humungous four hour Justice League redo. And I didn't quite achieve it. Had to leave the final hour to watch later, which I managed to finish last night.

And I didn't dislike it. There seemed to be more story telling and drama than in the original and fewer shots of Superman's odd non-moustache. Which is always a good thing. The six-part format had better pacing too but even so, it was so very loooong.

If it's one thing that has always fascinated me about the Star Trek Universe it's the way all species across the entire galaxy (or is it galaxies?) like to wear entirely monochrome clothing; shoes, stockings, trousers, dresses/tunics. The lot. One colour. Except for Troi's mum who tends to be a bit more colourful.

I was pleased to see that the new season of Star Trek: Discovery was starting this week.
But then...  

Well, oops. A friend told me Discovery would poof from Netflix, but she failed to mention there was a new season.. That said, I kind of felt like the last season could do well as a (very) last season. Everybody seemed so happy "to be home" as I recall it. *shrugs* I guess I'll just forget all about season 4 existing and pretend Discovery is over and done with.
