Just had to go watch it again for a laugh... 
The other hilarious thing about that episode is when the woman first gets out her roll-up piano which obviously didn't exist when it was filmed but you can now buy them for a few coins on Ebay yet Picard, 300 years from now, reacts as if it's a piece of amazing futuristic technology.

Oh I didn't even notice that when I watched the episode, but it's quite obvious. You can almost see him clasping his hands and holding them between his knees to keep from moving his arms and spoil the "illusion"

You can also tell that he's trying really hard to not laugh at the absurdity of it all.
