I kind of liked the ending - the very end that is, but you both make good points. Plus after what he did to her, I'm pretty sure that'd come up in every fight they ever had and it's unlikely with a happy ever after kind of scenario even if she forgave him at some point. Truly forgiving people when they do something that has a massive impact on our own lives is not particularly easy...

and now I've seen the ending of "Safe".
first half of the last episode was basically a recap of the previous 7 episodes. I was beginning to think I needn't have watched them, by the time things were caught up. And of course no surprises really, not even the mandatory "twist" at the very end... A shame, since I liked it up until then.

I watched Dark Phoenix on the plane on the way to Canada (don’t bother is my advice) but I also got to see Doctor Sleep and that was fantastic! A completely different film from The Shining, thank god, I’m glad they didn’t try to mimic the original classic but, for me, it worked. I’m sure there’s some huge plot and story holes that will appear in a second viewing but I enjoyed this different take on it. Some great imagery that may influence some of my art when I get back home.

Hot Chocolate has been acquired and a movie is incoming....

I'm hoping I'm on the last episode of "Paranoid" because it's falling into the usual issues of people doing stupid things instead of talking to each other and getting everything sorted much faster and safer....

The musical aspect of the film didn't really fit well with the realistic CGI. Putting that aside, I didn't enjoy it as much as The Jungle Book, but it still worked pretty well for me. Then again, I'm not that much of a fan of the cartoon original so I didn't have that kind of prejudice going into it.

With no sport anywhere near a TV screen at the moment, my Star Trek: TNG binge continues as I embrace the awfulness of that terrible clip-show at the end of season two.

I just watched episodes 1 & 2 of star trek enterprise. I think. *checks* yup for enterprise nope for episode 2. more like episode 1, parts 1 & 2... With Gandalf of course.
