There's only so much crochet, tv, food, naps and errands one can handle in a day....

I heard back about the computer: they have ordered spare parts for repairs so obviously something really was wrong

Which is good news 

Hopefully they'll be turning it off and on again very soon.

...and it's still going.

I bet it's gonna complain about not being Windows 11 when it's finally finished.

One of my favourite shows on TV is Portrait Artist Of The Year (for obvious reasons) and earlier today I was watching this week's episode (well, last week's that I'd recorded) and one of the artists looked strangely familiar to me. It actually reminded me of one of my own paintings and after a bit more remembering and searching through old posts I realized that I'd painted this guy on Reddit three years ago!

And now he's on TV showing off his work. I guess he progressed better than I did over those three years.

At least he didn't win.
