Adventures across the 3rd dimension
And I think Val might be on to something but the windows are already copied from other meshes, and includes double vertices here and there, but if those shading groups are what I think they might be, then it's the walls double vertices that matter, not the windows... (Also, when they have double vertices for stuff, it's bloody impossible to choose "the right ones"

I made a simple recolour plain brown too, and a simple stripey blue. I have made them into carpets in game but I haven't placed them anywhere yet.

It's the same broken that makes me move on to modding something new every time. I need to figure out how to fix this so I can maybe finish the occasional mod at some point in my life.

But at least I have now emptied out Breezehome so that it's mostly just the "bare necessities" (i.e. the stuff that's there before furnishing) in my version of the house. Minus markers and such things and a few activator things...
Next I'll need to set up what it would look like AFTER furnishing. And rename and reconnect all those markers... And then hope I can figure out how to make that guy who works for the jarl sell me the furnishings... Oh and I still need to finish the exterior (add collision). Should be fairly simple but I forget how to use nifskope between every run...
Anyway, I guess I might be in bed before midnight in the UK at least...
*looks at time*

I made 4 new items today (after having decided multiple times, that I shouldn't. Obviously.
Then again all the others did have some issues, one of which being that my normalmap didn't seem to actually have any effect at all,,, another that at least some of the items seemed to retain the colours of the original objects used to model them (so a bottle based on the frostbite venom bottle was greenish while one based on a skooma bottle was reddish...) - I tried to check in nifskope, but I checked the one item that wasn't working and it still wasn't working after I fiddled with it, so I don't know yet, but I guess there are more textures involved or maybe some base colours (though those usually are white).
I also need to redo some of my texturemapping
...and some parts of the texture...
...and probably loads more.

But I made some things, anyway, and they don't seem to be crashing the CK which is good...
Edit: The skooma bottle had red vertex colours which I got rid of, but where the green on the other bottle comes from is a complete and utter mystery.
Edit 2: actually the corks should be the same colour too
