Is that the video where someone else creates the entire scene, and then another someone else wrote the script describing the process of the first someone, and the guy getting all the praise in the comment section for his amazing work just read the script over the video and actually contributed nothing to the actual process?

I don't know.

I decided to try my hand at a Blender interior for the challenge... After a while I turned on face orientation, and realised that if I looked up the staircase I could see the interior of the next staircase. Oops. After further inspection I realised I'd built the staircases right on top of each other, so that if you walked up one, you'd just end up in a tiny space behind the next, one floor up...

Perhaps it's a good thing I didn't know mom wanted me to be an architect, when I decided on my university studies... Not that palaeontology was all that great a choice either, I guess.

And this is as far as I've got after several days of painful struggle...

 

I loaded in some reference images as planes to help me add some details to the house but after moving the pics to a different folder they disappeared again forcing me to reload them all. Why can't Blender just save them with the .blend file?

Hmm, that sounds familiar. I may have googled this problem before.
