It is slightly confusing but it might be possible for anyone to download and use the EOL license. The license file is here:  campaigns.foundry.com/modo-eol-license and the download is available here:  id.foundry.com/oauth2/authz?client_id=Ef...oducts/modo/download (requiring a foundry account log in).

It is slightly confusing...

Indeed.
I'll try and read through them again when my brain is working better, although I'd imagine the license extension is just for people that already have it. :hmm:

I'd imagine the license extension is just for people that already have it. :hmm:
While that may be the intention that it was only intended for anyone that had previously bought a license in the past, it has been reported that people that have never had it before have successfully used the license.

:shakefist:

*is getting some sort of python error when trying to export NIFs... *

Edit: and then I just deselect, select all again and try again and it works.

Edit2: And then I need to fix some texturemapping and suddenly the chunkmerge claims the template (same as always and same as used a few minutes ago) isn't valid. Try again, and it works.

Somehow, Skyrim modding seems to be a lot of try and try again and just dumb luck.

I'm getting weird "shadows" on the walls, that I think are caused by the normals or vectors of the faces or some such, but I'm not sure how to get rid of them. Any clues? Earlier I got some really weird shapes - I had two rectangular faces, nothing else, only those 8 vertices too, yet there was one odd shape in each. A triangle in one and a rectangle in the other. They were affected by rotation of vertices but I didn't get it entirely like I wanted and eventually I tried something else that worked. Maybe that's when a vector got involved? :dumb:

Anyway, now I am on a different item and I put in windows within triangular faces on a wall, so I only had to remove one face for each window (and replace with new faces around the window shape...) and setting normals to faces makes the wall look mostly flat, but the original triangle face that was replaced by many smaller triangles now look shadowy in the CK. :dunno: I also noticed some other issues that need to be fixed so I guess I need to go through the "optimise for LE, chunkmerge for collision, optimise for SSE" routine several times more... :sleepy: But it would be nice to know what to do about that stupid shadow.

Any ideas? :dumb:

My basement entry made to connect Whiterun stone floor with farmhouse basement and a ladder... Haven't tested it in game yet, so it IS possible that the distance between ladder and ceiling is too small, but... hopefully not.

Sad and dirty looking wall. I moved some vertices around and managed to make it look super flat in Blender but it still looks shadowy. Just in a slightly different triangular area from before...

That looks weirdly twisted on the right side. Are they supposed to be connected like that?

EDIT: And I meant the post before with the "shadows".

Which one what? Where? :dumb:

Edit: If you mean the blue and orange pic, the pointed out areas were not supposed to look like that. The rest might just be because it's hard to see what's what...

Edit 2: Oh look! You edited! :aha:

Edit 3: But now I'm not sure which shadows you mean... Orangey or sad stone wall shadows? :dumb:
