Nice one. Very convincing pose and nice little bit of story telling.

Looks quite nice indeed. - If I had to mention anything, it would be where the bowstring connects to the bow. I would think having the string wrap around the limb itself would be more convincing.

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

I only just noticed the note too. It really makes the image take on a story.

You could really ramp this up by putting in a secondary light source off to the left. By introducing a different colour too you would avoid the muddiness that some have mentioned about the colours and lighting.

If you picked a warm colour, like pink for example, it might help to tell more of a story too.

Everything's on the right!!!

Thank you so much, Charlotte! I didn't really notice that but after fixing it, the subtle differences really make a difference. I added a lot of grey to the bottom of her left arm, and some yellow to the top of her right to tie it in a little bit more. I think it looks a lot better :)

Oh gosh, I didn't realize before posting my previous one that i had so many comments with advice/suggestions for improving it. Thank you everyone! I'll work on trying to apply some of the feedback to make this as good as I can. I really appreciate it! :)

Looking good, Ali. The lighting in this image looks great. ... One small thing I just noticed is that you have the light hitting the right side of the bow which is consistent how it's hitting her face, arm, etc. But on the additional split branches along the bows limbs, the light appears to be hitting them from the left or opposite side. They should have highlights on the right as well. (There may be some bounce light on the left sides of these, but the main highlight would be on the right.) :)

Beautiful image. Love the detail you put into the costume and the rustic looking bow.
