Cheers guys, I do always prefer sketch work I always seem to get the energy better and I think that is partly what art and design are about conveying the idea and essence of the thing rather than a photorealistic rendering.

Still loving those pixel pirates. It'd be great to see them all together in a single scene.
And I dare you to try and illustrate the Tremendous Yak! No, I take that back, it would spoil the mystery. :)

The guy standing on the tall rock is very cool but I'm absolutely loving the little kid with the oversized helmet and jacket.

No smudge tool was harmed in the making of this image.

I love how your mechs have such character and personality, especially the humanoid ones! The contrast between the spindly legs and the fat, gorilla-style, knuckle-dragging forearms is very funny.
And that speckled texture in the last pic gives a lovely sense of subtle, sparkling light.

I realise that you haven't logged in for a while so I may be talking to myself here (no change there, then :P) but well done on getting your sketchbook in the new IFX magazine.
As soon as I turned the page I immediately recognised your little machines and vehicles! :)
