I just went to see how things where going on the ImagineFX forums only to find they've gone.
Rather glad a google search bought me here.

I'll try and be more active here than I was over there.

Future Publishing appear to be on a mission to close down all of their magazine forums for some reason. I just found out yesterday another one that is closing down in a week or two. It doesn't seem to be a financial decision to me if they only remove the forums and not the entire site completely.

wonder why they are doing it then, it's not like they maintained the forums?

Don't know. One of their forums got hacked not so long ago and they shut many of them down temporarily for a few weeks/months, and IFX was bombarded with spam recently (all their blog posts at the moment appear to still be getting nothing but spam comments), so perhaps they just saw the forums as a liability that wasn't worth the hassle. Most magazines seem to just use TwitFace these days anyway.

Yup... I feel like there's soooo much more time to paint now we don't have to kill spam on a daily basis :)
Still don't manage to finish anything though. I seem to be stuck in thinking it should be like when I was a kid and sat down to draw and finished the drawing in one or maybe two sittings... Trying to remind myself that my work today is probably more detailed and better :P But I'm not sure! It just seems to take longer... (and so I start something new evreytimeI can't finish something old fast enough...)

I must echo that lamentation Charlotte!

I simply lack the discipline to finish what I start. I am too easily distracted by a new idea!

Everything's on the right!!!
