Well Gollum was a Stoor, so I think they were a bit larger than a regular Shire Hobbitses. :hmm:

Stor means big so that makes sense.... (Just like Tooks must be tokiga - crazy)
And I'm fairly relieved that you didn't just call me Gollum.... :S

Last night I (re?)watched everything I slept through during the previous night.
And I was surprised to realise that I'd actually snoozed through about 80% of that Noomis film. Less surprisingly it did make a lot more sense when I watched it with eyes open.

I also watched Children Of Men and enjoyed it again. There's some really great camera work in that movie and the style of visual storytelling reminds me a lot of video games especially Half Life.

I've now got through the first season of Sense8 (it gets better but it's still not the show I wanted it to be) and I thought I'd have a break, especially as the next episode is a feature length one and I couldn't be bothered with that last night. :P
So I had a rummage around my Netflix recommendations and started on Nightflyers. The set-up seemed very reminiscent of that Star Trek TNG episode "Tin Man" where they travel to make contact with a new alien and have to take along a telepath that no-one likes, but then it veered away from Star Trek tropes and started to turn into a horror-type thing. Still not very original but I'll keep going with it.

While searching through the list of shows I did get a bit excited when I saw that season 2 of The Alienist is coming in a couple of weeks. :excited:
That'll give me something to watch if and when I finish Nightflyers. :)

The Nightflyers book was definitely horror. Or gore. Or both. :P

1) Could be fun
2) I just saw this (well, too recently to want to see it again)
3) Yes, walk in closets are very scary.... So easy to get lost in...
