Swedish telly does sometimes turn up on our telly on Saturday nights. :)

It almost felt like a Saturday last night too as I found a way to sleep through most of a movie. :P
I was trying to watch the Matt Damon thing Elysium to see if it was any better the second time around.

And it wasn't.

 Why? (Why would our telly visit your telly? You do such lovely versions of Kurt Wallander and such on your own - insisting on mispronouncing all place and personal names etc...)

Saturday night subtitles on BBC4. Sometimes Swedish, sometimes Danish, sometimes French, sometimes Italian.
I think they've been repeating The Bridge recently. And we have our own version of that too... which I haven't seen. :nope:

I haven't seen "our" version of the Bridge. It's one of those where the forced lines and poor acting bothers me too much. From what tiny bits I have seen....

Currently watching "Enola" - about Enola Holmes, sister to Sherlock Holmes and daugther to Helena Bonh... I mean Mrs Holmes... Played by Millie something from Stranger Things. It's fairly light weight entertaining so far. And as usual in movies, anyone cutting off their hair without professional help or scissors ends up looking very stylish. Anyhow I am enjoying it. Oh and in this version Sherlock is played by Superman. I think. Also he seems somewhat less awkward among people than in many other modern depictions, while Mycroft is apparently not as brilliant as his siblings. (I think he is depicted as equally brilliant, in the version featuring that hobbit guy, Arthur "Bilbo" Dent.)

Aw, is that a movie?
From watching the trailer I thought it was gonna be a series. I guess I'll just sleep through it on a Saturday and continue my endless search for a "new" show that I might like. :)

I'll try another episode of Sense8 now. Please give me a bit of story instead of the tedious character stuff.

It's a movie, yup. And I'm not entirely sure it it's aimed at an adult audience or a younger one. Some bits seem kind of teen oriented but maybe it's just because two of the main characters are teenagers.... Not exactly a family movie either, with attempted murders, politics (which Sherlock refuses to get involved with) and other not so nice stuff of the past.
