I have to take back what I said about the shield bugs... They come in several colorations and shapes, apparently... (and these ones look pretty cool)



Edit: seems the group also contains the ones my dad liked to paint... the so wonderfully named "berry farts"... He did a "Berry Fart in backlight" once... (yes, he has a sense of humour)

 

I actually tried to sketch a shield bug fae but.... I made quite a few mistakes and can't find an eraser.

I just saw a job listing for someone wanting a person to create a self portrait for them 

Edit: I guess it is possible if it's a self portrait of the artist, they want?  
Edit 2: Does the artist have to apply with photo?  

Yes, I think they want a painting of themselves. It was just poorly worded 

"What's that you are doing?"
"I'm painting a self portrait"
"Oh, who of?"

It's a fairly common mistake though - a lot of people seem to think "portrait" isn't a complete word in itself...

Just read something rather disturbing on Bored Panda (admittedly that whole "article" is dedicated to disturbing facts, but still... and how do they know this?)
