It's almost as bad as celebrating Christmas Day on Christmas Eve

Glad to see you folks doing well. ... And hope the kitty is on the mend too. :)

Christmas was somewhat cancelled for us this year. Santa brought us all Covid a couple weeks before Christmas. And it extremely sucked! - December 8th was our wedding anniversary and the wife woke that morning not feeling all that well, so we decided to try doing something on the weekend instead. (We haven't been out to dinner since Covid started) ...But nope. By the next evening, she was feeling horrible and tested positive on Saturday. Followed by my Son and I on Sunday. - Took us all out for over two weeks, and didn't start feeling all that well until a couple days after Christmas. Still not back to normal, if that's possible.

So we never even got a Tree put up, (First time) and not much in the way of shopping either... So I am hoping 2023 helps turn the tide and ends up being a bit better. :)

I get sketchy around pencils! ...=D

Sorry to hear about your Covid Christmas, but good to see you, and good to hear you're all on the mend again. My sis is most likely having covid too, and she too is better now. She hasn't been tested but she did lose smell and taste so, it's likely covid. She does say it's an improvement when changing diapers, so there's that. Though she didn't enjoy the New Year's dinner with her family, much.

Sorry to hear that and hope she gets better. ... But yep, the Wife lost her sense of smell completely, and taste wasn't too far behind. Mostly she didn't taste much, but only slightly. Taste was a little bit of an issue for me too, though I could still taste things, it wasn't much and made most quite bland. ... But didn't have the issue of smelling problems. If anything, everything I did smell, made me sick to my stomach to a degree. Didn't make dinners that fun and still a slight issue to be honest.
