my hand has fallen asleep and doesn't want to wake up! 
(Edit: OK it did wake up again... not that anyone cares. But I'm sure the hamsters were behind it, again. Because Val says they are.)

I did have an appointment but they're not doing "proper" fillings because the drilling and cleaning requires water spray that spreads that naughty virus around. So he just jammed in a temporary filling and tried to make it tooth shaped.
It feels like someone's shoved a bit of polymer clay in there, its rather rough to touch and is awkwardly a little thicker than the "tooth" I was used to so hopefully it'll survive the subsequent grinding that I'll be inadvertantly doing.
I have now had a soft sandwich lunch and it's still intact.
Thankfully it doesn't hurt apart from occasionally being a little sensitive to heat/cold.

Polymer clay is so useful. Now you just have to put your head in the oven for an hour or so, and that temporary filling will be permanent...

Oh, it did set after a couple of hours. Soft squishy teeth are no good to anyone.
It just feels as rough and lumpy as my own attempts at clay sculpture. And it's a completely different colour too! Perhaps the two-tone-tooth will be the latest trend.
